Voici un joueur que les moins de 40 ans ne peuvent pas connaitre… Richmond Gosselin


Pour les fans de hockey de ma génération, Richmond Gosselin était le Kid, un véritable lutin sur la glace. Il possédait une technique incroyable mais sa petit taille, 1 mètre 70, l’empêcha d’accéder en NHL.


Il débute sa carrière en Suisse en LNA au HC la Chaux-de-Fonds lors de la saison 1976-1977. Il rejoint ensuite le HC Bienne lors de la saison 1980-1981 avec laquelle il remporte le titre de champion suisse en 1983. Il quitte le HC Bienne pour le HC Fribourg-Gottéron en 1984 pour deux saisons. Il rallie le EHC Grindelwald en 1986 puis le HC Martigny en 1987 où il termine sa carrière de joueur en 1990. Il possède une carte incroyable de 573 points (323 buts, 250 assists) en 10 saisons en LNA.


Je me rappelle qu’à chaque début de saison, la rumeur populaire lausannoise disait qu’il allait venir endosser le maillot des Lions… malheureusement notre rêve ne s’est jamais réalisé.
